Springfield College-Benedictine University’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) program will provide you with the skills necessary to adapt to an environment where the only certainty is change. Since all of our students are working professionals, our curriculum is organized to build on and enhance those skills you already possess.

Skills requirements:  
Written Communication 6 hours
Oral Communication 3 hours
Finite Math or Quantitative Reasoning or College Algebra or Proficiency 3 hours
   
Core and Cognate requirements:  
Cultural Heritage 3-6 hours
Humanities (to include general ethics) 9 hours
Sciences – 16 hours (to include the following):  
Anatomy and Physiology 6-8 hours
Microbiology 3-4 hours
Chemistry 3-4 hours
Social Sciences – 9 hours (to include the following):  
Introduction to Psychology 3 hours
Introduction to Sociology 3 hours
Developmental Psychology 3 hours
   
Nursing Major requirements:  
NRHL 200 Nursing Transitions 3 hours
NRHL 213 Health Aspects of Aging 3 hours
NRHL 250 Statistics 3 hours
NRHL 290 Health Assessment** 3 hours

NRHL 300 Holistic Nursing 3 hours
