Staff
Jessi Call — Math Tutor
Jessi graduated in 2007 with her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology/Criminal Justice. She couldn't wait to return to SC-BU, where she is working toward her Master of Arts in Elementary Education. When not tutoring in the Resource Center, Jessi enjoys time with her family, which includes her two precious Yorkies, Pepsi and Squirt. She also loves reading, playing the Wii, and checking out the latest movies.
Eric Craddock—Tutor and Retired RA
Eric is a current graduate with a Bachelors Degree in Communications. A fan of movies, music, reading, and writing, Eric hopes to publish his fiction and write screenplays professionally. In addition to tutoring in the Resource Center, Eric has worked on campus as a Resident Assistant in Housing. Presently retired from housing supervisory duties (with the exception of ensuring the happiness of his cat, Yusuf), Eric is looking forward to a relaxing summer without homework.
Rhiannon Gurley—Graduate Assistant
With a background in Art and Graphic Design, Rhiannon enjoys assisting students with creating marketing materials and learning various software applications, including Blackboard. She is currently working toward her graduate degree in Behavior of Organizational Management and can offer further assistance in writing, degree and career exploration, goal-setting, résumé-writing, job preparation, and entrepreneurship.
Sr. Beata Knoedler—Professor Emerita
Sr. Beata Knoedler, O.S.U., began teaching at SCI in the summer of 1958. She has dedicated her life to shaping and inspiring countless doctors, dentists, pharmacists and engineers. At the end of the 2005 academic year, Sr. Beata retired from teaching and moved to the position of Alumni Coordinator. Her passion is still helping students, and Sr. B is available for tutoring assistance in chemistry and the sciences. Beata Hall on campus is named in honor of Sr. B.; also, to commemorate her impact on Springfield College, the College has established an annual event, The Sr. Beata Scholarship Ball to raise funds for student scholarships.
Danielle Lounsberry—Tutor and Career-Development Projects Assistant
Danielle recently graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education (with an emphasis in language arts and social science) through SC-BU. She loves it here so much that she is returning for a Master's degree Elementary Education to get her Reading Specialist Certificate. In addition to tutoring and working on projects, you can find Danielle socializing with friends and family, presiding as the Vice President of Lit Club, talking about her upcoming trip to Europe, or doing just about anything associated with language arts.
Nikkie Prosperini—Tutor, Mentor, and Blackboard Projects Assistant
Nikkie thoroughly enjoys school; therefore, she decided to return to SCI-BU for her second Bachelor's degree (her first one is in Elementary Education, while her second will be in Communications). Outside of classes and working in the Resource Center, Nikkie's hobbies include creative writing and reading (which helped land her the present gig as Lit Club President) as well as watching movies, listening to music, playing with her cats (Hi, Rocky and Lucey!), and speaking French (Oui, vraiment, français!)
