Tutoring

Walk-ins are always welcome anytime the Resource Center is open. Tutors are on duty nearly every hour the Center is open and are happy to assist walk-ins, though priority is given to those who have scheduled appointments.

Click on the schedule link to find out when a tutor is available for the subject(s) with which you need assistance. If you’d like to schedule an appointment, you may call (217) 525-1420, ext. 320; visit the Resource Center in person; or send an email request.

Email Tutor Scheduling Request
Your email request should include the following information:

  • Your first and last name
  • Course name for which you are seeking help
  • Two to three possible tutoring appointment times that work for
    you
  • A phone number where you may be reached in order to confirm
    one of your preferred meeting times

Email requests should be made from your SCI email account, as official campus correspondence with students is conducted through SCI email accounts.
