Kelli Thorington
Untitled
Sugary sweet lips
Kissed with ice
Petal soft skin
Cradled in a cloud
Empty arms
Sad blue eyes
Flying into twilight
On a wing and a prayer
As an amber sky
Fills with stars
And the day
Becomes a memory.
Spider Web
Trapped by a silver string
Stuck in a spider web
No way out
Because I can't remember
How I got here
Yesterday was a better day
At least I was free
Untitled
Creep in and feel the cold
touch the night, it's all right
Breathe me in. Don't be afraid
Can you taste the Dream?
Can you feel the pain?
Keep close to me
I hold the key
To time, to light
To me
